I simply could not resist the packaging and had to buy this super cute chocolate toffee bar from Trader Joe’s. I’m glad I did, too, because it’s delicious!

hint of fall
The first hint of fall here in Southern California: 2 apples (almost) ripe from our backyard tree.
On the right is our letterpress squirrel note card set from the woodland collection.
I picked up two plaid fabrics to use as backdrops (see above and here) and now I’m smitten with plaid.
I’m thinking of designing a plaid series of holiday cards, save the dates and fall/winter wedding invites. Any thoughts? Suggested colors?

paper squirrel favors
So after this squirrel post I promise I’ll give squirrels a rest for a while. But seriously, how sickingly cute are these paper squirrel favors? I’d write a guest’s name on the “log” and they could double as place cards. Almost makes me want to throw a party! (If only it weren’t for the cooking and cleaning part!) For the third year in a row, delphine has won a HOW design award! Thanks, HOW! This year our adorable squirrel business card holders were honored. They’re letterpressed in soy-based chocolate brown ink and are pressed on super fun German wood-grain textured paper. Simply fold along the scores and voila: a nutty case to hold your business cards.
