The studio is busy busy busy as we prep for our upcoming appearance at the VIGO booth at NYIGF. Last minute we’ve decided to introduce a brand new collection (it was originally slated to debut at NSS in May)… so we are drinking lots of coffee and frantically sketching around here. Yesterday morning I literally poured coffee into my cereal bowl! Over cereal! Whoopsie.
If you’ll be attending NYIGF please do stop by to see us at the VIGO booth — and if you’re around on Monday morning make a beeline to #2808 to grab a mimosa. Mmm.

Last year we introduced some neat oversize gift tags (we had wine bottles in mind when we designed them). At the National Stationery Show lots of buyers asked us to develop boomarks, so, voila: cute bookmarks. This hummingbird one is letterpressed in champagne ink on pale magnolia pink 100 percent post consumer waste stock. It will be available in stores next month.

Coming soon to stores, our adorable baby giraffe letterpress “many thanks” note card. The cute illustration was done by our favorite illustrator, my mom. It’s part of our new Baby Animals Collection, which will debut next week at the National Stationery Show in New York.

Haute off the press: our new letterpressed Darling Lion Cubs card from the Baby Animals Collection. We’ll debut this fun collection at the National Stationery Show this May. Everything in this collection is printed in soy-based inks on minimum 30 percent pcw paper (as always).

At New York International Gift Fair last year the freight guys lost our chairs. Shocking, huh? I did not want to use the ugly folding chairs provided by the Javits Center. I spotted a fabulous chair at the Fermob booth and pleaded my case. They were super super kind and let me borrow two of their cute yellow folding bistro chairs, and I fell in love with their products. I’m particularly fond of their Luxembourg Collection. The bar cart would be sooooo cool in their Verbena Green color outside next to our pool. The orange drink tray and silver pitcher (both from CB2) would be make the whole setup even more chic. Add in the crazy straws from For Your Party to keep it cheeky.
