So y’all know I LOVE green (and yellow, and especially the two together). I also love shoes. And type. And newspapers. So this week’s Pin of the Week (found via NubbyTwiglet) is aweeeesome.Pin It

This fall we’re loving everything emerald green, leopard, and cats. Lytle spotted the cat flats in the window of a shoe store on King Street in Charleston and Erika is now obsessed. And that green leather tote bag with handy dandy pockets and pen holders … Santa? Saaaantaaaaa????

The flirty skirt with a simple tank tucked in seems to be the easiest, but also the most popular go to of trends this season. It’s cool in the hot summer heat, chic for any occasion and the options for accessorizing it are endless. We came up with four different outfits that cater to whatever style you’re going for that day. Despite the heat, no need to sweat trying to mix it up, we got it covered!
Outfit 1: Whether it’s with the girls or with your someone special, this outfit is the perfect dinner date outfit. The accessories are pretty, simple and neutral so together with the navy and pink it’s the perfect amount of class and sass. Outfit 2: Since we already did a dinner date outfit, it is only right to come up with a lunch date outfit as well. Flats are perfect because they are comfortable and cute but they keep the ensemble sharp and not too casual. Pair it with a bright purse and some gold jewelry and you’re good to go! Outfit 3: This may be our most casual look but it is still nothing short of fabulous. Perfect for the weekend! Mixing and matching many colors is all the rage this season so don’t be shy to pair a colorful belt, earrings, and bag, especially if you have neutral sandals. Â SOURCES Â || Sunglasses: With Love from CA Half Frame Tortoise Sunglasses from PacSun | Earrings: 2 Stone Drop Earrings from Target | Belt: BCBGMAXAZRIA Double Wrap Waist Belt from Lord & Taylor | Purse: Cole Haan Zoe Izzie Clutch from 6PM | Shoes: Steven Madden Cuff Leather Sandals from Lord & Taylor
Outfit 4: So obviously this last look is the office look. It’s important to be excited to go to work everyday and we believe the outfit has a lot to do with it! Keep it professional with a jacket and closed toed shoes. Add a bold statement necklace for a little edge, and don’t forget a roomy tote to stash your files. Wanted: comfortable boots that will work here at home (Southern California) AND on the road for trade show trips to New York City. Do you think these [Rebels Shoes Aura Ankle Boots] will work? I’m loving the $29.50 price tag!
I spotted these mustard yellow ruffly suede pumps in the J. Crew catalog. I love yellow shoes and already have a few pair of yellow suede flats. I think yellow shoes look great with jeans. I wore them all fall last year. The suede pumps on the left from Newport News are also darling (and budget friendly). I especially like the grey ones.
I work mostly in jeans, t-shirts and flip-flops, so really I have no actual need for these gorgeous Gucci booties, but my heart aches for them still.

I’ve been loving these sweet, soft & milky colors lately and am adding them to the next delphine stationery collection. They totally remind me of my grandmother, Bea. She used to wear cantaloupe or aquamarine every day in the spring and summer (and dark orange or brown in the winter). I remember she had a pair of stretchy polyester shorts in aquamarine that she wore all summer long.
Paul Smith (notebook and coffee pot) is the master of stripes, but I also love these Jonathan Adler pillows! The sparkly dress by Banana Republic is in last year’s Pantone Color of the Year, Blue Iris. I think you’ll see this color sneaking into home décor next year. Necklace from Banana Republic; chic chartreuse lamp from Moss.
“Soul of the Underground,” by Jean Dubuffet, is an oil painting over aluminum foil. I stood in front of it for a looooong time. Hard to tell from this pic, but it’s 3-dimensional and totally mesmerizing!
