San Franciso Tile has always been one of my favorite Delphine designs. I like the clean, simple layout. I prefer it with sans serif fonts like Gill Sans or Futura, but some clients have been ordering it lately with script fonts. The look is growing on me. What do you prefer? Fancy script or simple sans serif?
Cyclone, a Hoefler & Frere-Jones masterpiece, makes me happy. It’s trendy, I won’t deny it, but also a classic inline font. Super versatile, it’s become one of my favorites.
Charleston Stitch is an invitation design near and dear to my heart. I designed at the request of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine (my all time favorite magazine … I’ve been a fan since the very first issue), with my once and again hometown of Charleston as the inspiration. This example is shown letterpressed in gorgeous keylime and champagne inks on thick off-white 100 percent cotton paper.
Font Shop, you are killing me. Dangling fabulous fonts in front of my nose via email is some sort of sick torture that you enjoy, isn’t it? I was perfectly happy not knowing that Ambicase Modern existed. Now it’s all I can think about, and poor Santa is going to have to figure out a way to wrap up a font and get it down the chimney. If I can wait that long.

We posted this yesterday on Designing Moms, but I thought you might like a peek, too.
The “Starlite” letterpress card is a part of our Delphine Modern Flora Collection.
It was awesome to see John quoted in Exquisite Weddings magazine. He dished about what makes a truly unforgettable invitation, discussed color trends, eco-friendly invites, and lots of other details. Congrats, John!

Our newest delphine intern, Tori, spotted these intriguing sparkling sake concoctions by Sake2me while out to dinner the other night. Packaged in sleek single-serving bottles, these exotic fruity fusions combine ingredients like Ginger Mango and Asian Pear with Junmai Sake.
Sushi, sake, and summer… what could be better?
