Sorry for the radio silence around here. Things have been … well … chaotic. On top of my already hectic home and work life, I was in a car accident two weeks ago. I can now say that I know exactly how it feels to be hit by a Mack Truck. (Not good, in case you were wondering). I’ve not been able to work a fraction of my normal workload, at home or at the studio. My projects and to do lists are piling up, my house is a certifiable disaster zone, I have no idea how I’m going to find a car I love as much as my old one, I haven’t been able to exercise (i.e. unload stress), I’m missing all the fun Spring Break things I should be doing with my little one, and I feel really really super lousy. But my very wise Tatie (“Auntie”) tells me, “Chaos comes before order.” So I push on.
So to all of you struggling to meet deadlines, struggling to get dinner on the table, or just plain struggling … chin up. Chaos comes before order.
And to all my clients: thank you for your extra patience. Xo —Erika.
