It’s May, the bestest month! Welcome, soft shelled crab season, Spoleto, spring flowers, the National Stationery Show, the 9th Annual paper party meetup, my birthday (!), rain showers, long lunches with friends and ice cream trucks.

This month’s desk calendar quote was inspired by someone I’ve known my whole life. A few years ago, on what was otherwise the most horrible day, Rachel C. told me “do something silly every day.” When I’m struggling through a bad day I try to remember her advice; even if I don’t have the energy to do something silly, I still manage to feel a little better just thinking about what she told me. So March totally snuck up on me. Sorry for the lack of posts last month! We were super busy in the studio making some much needed changes to the Delphine website … it now works on mobile devices, yay!!! We also added a few new designs, including Ponderosa, which has been a big hit so far. Thanks to everyone for your support and well wishes as we prep for a super huge wedding season. XO – E.
Oh, hello, February! How did you sneak up on me like this? It’s going to be a fun month: we’re busy in the studio working on some brand new Delphine wedding invitation designs, which I’ll preview soon. Valentine’s Day is around the corner … the perfect opportunity to mail out valentine’s day photo card to all your loved ones if you never did get around to Christmas or New Year’s cards.
Also this month I’m headed back to Cali for Tradeshow Camp’s PAPER CAMP. I’m so excited to meet all our new students, catch up with some of my favorite paper peeps, and visit with my family & friends.

Oh, and yes, that is our new 2013 desk calendar. It’s a super limited edition (fewer than 100 were printed, and we have about 30 left). They are the same size as always (4.25in x 5.5in), so if you have an easel from years past it will fit perfectly. Most pages are letterpressed, a few are flat printed. Hello, November! Good bye, hurricane season! Phew. So happy we dodged that terrible, terrible Sandy. My heart goes out to everyone affected. A survivor of a terrible storm myself, I really feel their pain. If you are able to donate to the Red Cross I highly encourage you to do so.
Hello, July! It’s getting HOT here in Charleston. Glad we have a freezer full of popsicles, ice cream and frozen treats. We’re getting good at concocting frozen cocktails, too ; ) Happy July, friends!

Yay for MAY! One of my favorite months … it’s Stationery Show month, my birthday month, last day of school month, pretty flower month, not too hot month. Happy May, friends.
Happy March, friends. It’s been a crazy week so far. We moved all the way to John’s Island (a couple of minutes outside of Charleston, SC) from Southern California!!! March is a month for new beginnings: rainy days lead to my favorite thing: spring green everywhere. I live across the street from a tidal marsh now, and CANNOT WAIT to see the Lowcountry turn from straw brown to spring green over the next few weeks.
Sidenote: That’s our 2012 calendar in the photo. We’re out of stock now, but after we open all our boxes we may come across a couple more. Shout if you’d like to order one and we’ll set it aside for you.
