If there’s one thing Charleston really knows how to do, it’s party! On any given day there are multiple fêtes going on here, so it’s no surprise that the weddings and events industry is booming.
When Petra, who is no stranger to the events industry (she and her husband own CRAVE, the yummiest catering company in town) asked us to help her name and brand her new bar service and party rental company we were thrilled. We asked a lot of questions, had lots of nice long chats, and sipped plenty of champagne in the process. FLÛTE was named after the vessel of our drink of choice. We added the fun accent circumflex just ’cause, and as a nod to the founder’s Czech roots. (They put accents on everything!)
FLÛTE’s clients, mostly brides and mothers-of-the-bride, are quite sophisticated, so we wanted a chic look for the logo. Something classic and feminine, but not swirly-girly. We went a timeless and elegant mint, gold and white color combo, and added in some fun champagne bubbles on the party goodies for a pop of whimsy. How adorable are the coasters, stir sticks and mint and gold foil cocktail napkins? LOVE!!
The website is still under construction — photo shoots need to happen in the next few days — and some of the materials are still at press, but keep an eye out for new stuff coming soon (including a sweet delivery truck). Meanwhile, however, gold foil business cards were a must. It’s a little hard to tell in the photos, but the front of the cards are mint green with gold foil and the back are a gorgeous bay green color.
FLÛTE made a splash a few weeks ago at the local Charleston bridal show — Petra reports that their booth was packed, they served up cases of champagne cocktails … and won “best booth design” on top of it all. If you’re planning a party in Charleston, consider giving the experts at FLÛTE a ring for the finest bar service and event rentals. Cheers!!!
