Yes! I have gained (unauthorized and unsupervised) access to the blog controls.
Its been ten amazing years since Erika and I were married. There are many things to say on this occasion that are not exactly blog-appropriate; but I did want to post a couple pics and a few thoughts for clients of delphine and readers of delphine-ephemera.
A classic pic of Erika and I under the sword arch. One of the great things about working at delphine is that I get to re-live this wonderful day a little bit each time we print a couple’s wedding invitations. It’s easy to envy the “new guys” (as I call them) because they are just about to experience it for themselves.
One of my favorite pics of my beautiful bride.
Here’s a couple shots of Erika back at the beginning in her “office” in our first apartment. Note the 50 lb. computer and the floppy disks. I don’t even think there was an internet connection. Who knew where she would be ten years later: a string of national design awards under her belt, national licensing partners, international design clients, president of a leading letterpress company, products carried in hundreds of stores across the US and abroad….
I’m so proud of you, Erika; can’t wait to see where we’ll be in another ten.
